SCOUTING OVERVIEW
Joseph pairs a towering frame with a genuine offensive toolkit. His size and reach create a difficult matchup for defenders, while his puck skills allow him to contribute as more than a net-front presence.
OFFENSIVE TOOLS AND HOCKEY IQ
He can shield the puck, extend possessions and distribute from tight spaces. His 60 points in 54 games in 2025–26 underscore his ability to produce in junior hockey.
SKATING AND TRANSITION
An effective skater for his size, especially once he builds momentum. Continued first-step improvement will help him create separation at higher levels.
TWO-WAY DEVELOPMENT
His size gives him the potential to win defensive-zone battles and support teammates below the puck, but his details without possession must continue to mature.
KEY STRENGTHS
Size, puck protection, offensive-zone vision, finishing around the net
AREAS FOR IMPROVEMENT
Quicker acceleration, more consistent engagement away from the puck, faster decisions against pressure
NHL PROJECTION
Potential top-six NHL center; first-line upside if skating and pace keep improving.
THE PUCK PIPELINE VERDICT
A rare blend of size and skill makes Joseph one of the most compelling centers in the class.
