SCOUTING OVERVIEW
Skvortsov’s appeal is built around processing speed, passing creativity, and an ability to spot developing lanes before they open. He looks to move the puck into dangerous areas rather than force low-percentage individual plays.
OFFENSIVE TOOLS AND HOCKEY IQ
Vision, anticipation, passing touch, and offensive-zone positioning. These traits inform his offensive projection, though their consistency against higher-level opponents remains important to evaluate.
SKATING, PACE AND TWO-WAY DEVELOPMENT
How effectively Sergei sustains pace, supports teammates without the puck, and manages defensive responsibilities will be important parts of his development.
KEY STRENGTHS
Vision, anticipation, passing touch, and offensive-zone positioning.
AREAS FOR IMPROVEMENT
Building strength, creating his own shots more consistently, and handling heavy pressure.
NHL PROJECTION
Potential top-six playmaking winger with power-play upside. This is a subjective role projection, not a verified draft ranking.
THE PUCK PIPELINE VERDICT
His hockey sense gives him an intriguing ceiling; driving play against stronger competition is the next test.
